The wind, the cold, forget about a museum

It is COLD out, the wind is freezing...it is like a nice breezy March day back in the 'Eburg. So, instead we set up McB's big girl bed, got lucky and sold her crib/mattress in like 10 minutes on facebook, so over craigslist these days, and remembered these totally awesome yoga pants I want from Lucy. They are supposed to help your posture, help your core and in my opinion, better make me look like 10 pounds thinner! See link below:

Catching Everybody Up

So...it seems I have readers and they want updates! Good to know, except I don't have much to tell, although I will share with you my friend, Christine, who owns 'It's a Paper Thing' is now on www.etsy.com and is making these fabulous 'to do' boards you can put in your kitchen to jot things down on, or to remind the dude to do things, etc. Love mine!!! Her website is on my left column.

The snow melted enough this week to see we have lots of bulbs poking thru, can't wait to get out in the garden and start weeding and fertilizing and I am guessing replacing a few rose bushes.

In the next few days McB and I are checking out this exhibit (it's free) at the National Geographic Museum.

Alexander Graham Bell, National Geographic’s second president, declared the Society should cover “the world and all that is in it.” The Image Collection reflects that mandate, covering every corner of the globe, showcasing cultures and human exploration as well as the Earth’s diversity of wildlife and landscapes. The collection also offers a history of the evolution of photography, ranging from early black-and-white photographs and delicate color Autochromes to cutting-edge digital photography. While many of the images have been seen in National Geographic publications, an equal number are rarely seen or have never been published.
This exhibition is based on the book, National Geographic"

We are all going to see the Terra Cotta Warriors over McB's birthday weekend.

More from Blizzard Central...

After I sent out the email stating that the garbage truck would not be here today, Wednesday, they come cruising through YESTERDAY around 1 PM! How crazy is that? And, how crazy was it to see the 'hood scramble to get their bags of garbage out? It was a funny few minutes, and what a great neighborhood. Lots of folks were out yesterday for a few hours either at 1. the gym, 2. the Food Giant shopping center or 3. the cul de sac helping the bobcat driver and getting the 'hood cleaned up for this current blizzard we are having. Anyhow, I have a few more pictures...enjoy. See you when we all thaw out in like March!
